350Z engine shared with Renault?
editSomeone just (rightfully) removed a section in Nissan Sentra where it was stated that the 350Z`s engine was developed by Renault. While checking some facts, I found that this engine and the 3.5L V6 currently used by Renault share the same basic architecture and the same bore/stroke measurements (95.5 x 81.4 mm). Now, are these engines really identical or related and if so, who developed them, Nissan or Renault? Anybody knows more? --328cia (talk) 23:49, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- My friendly local Renault dealer admitted that the V6 used in the Vel Satis is a Nissan engine. --328cia (talk) 15:01, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
- No. The 350Z engine has always been built by Nissan otherwise Renault would have customer support for it. --Gp75motorsports REV LIMITER 11:06, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
There is a modified 350Z with 5,289 horsepower, and it's the most powerful car on the planet. How fast does that thing go? --Ben9201996 (talk) 16:11, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Nissan 370Z
editSpeculation regarding the 370Z is not to be put into the 350Z article. There is currently a dummy article being worked on at User:Andrew Nutter/Nissan 370Z. Feel free to contribute to that page. For more information regarding the policy of new car articles, please read this about unannounced vehicles. On October 29, 2008, Nissan will officially release information regarding the 370Z. At that time and ONLY at that time will it be permissible for an article to be started at the official location of Nissan 370Z (which is currently a redirect). Probably around 155MPH+-. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.233.30.74 (talk) 01:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
There is a fuel cut off installed by Nissan at 155 regardless of RPM.
- 0-60 and top speed of each model would be great to know. 173.212.87.8 (talk) 20:14, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Was it actually Michael Schumacher (GER) that raced the 350z in Grand-Am?
editI was really confused and surprised when I check the Motorsport section. Can somebody please tell me that it was true or wrong info? Makarofu (talk) 08:44, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
