Alloy cylinder head
editI know this article has been widely copied but, :
I had a Datsun 120Y and it definitely had a cast iron cylinder head, not alloy.
The A series, and the earlier E series was made under licence from BMC. The E series had a 3 bearing crankshaft and was siamsed, like the early versions of the BMC engine.
The A series had a new - but still cast iron - cylinder head, that was non-siamesed and a 5 bearing crankshaft.789 underscore (talk) 06:07, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
