Copyvio?
editI found the exact text of this article at [1]. I'd like to know if the poster there is the same person who wrote this article; if so, we're cool, if not, then we have a copyvio here. --BorgHunter (talk) 13:55, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
The MR18DE section states that is is both 1797cc and 1798cc, which is it? Also, capacity and bore/stroke info is repeated. Stocksy 15:07, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
- The 1797/1798 thing is just a rounding error. The correct value is about 1797.75. And I removed the repeated bore/stroke/displacement info. freeman (talk) 22:26, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Merger proposal
edit@Jonathan35is: I propose to merge Mercedes-Benz OM699 engine into Nissan MR engine. Looking at [2], [3] and [4], the OM699 is simply the Renault M9T with another engine cover. As we already have this page, I suggest a merger. ExcitedEngineer (talk) 23:37, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Split proposal
editI think M9R/M9T (diesel) should be a different page. It is very different engine to the petrol MR engine. It's not accurate to bring them under the same family like that — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chb48uk (talk • contribs) 00:11, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
