I have over 60 patents on modification of the methaqualone class. The 2-fluoromethyl-3-(2-nitro-4-tolyl)-4(3H)-quinazolinone analogue is fully active at 5mg. Luckily, the synthesis of this is very expensive but replacing the pages of the named compounds to a class, a clear QSAR can be build up. I also have a wide number of papers from South Africa. The drug is primarily made in India and smuggled to South Africa where it is the number 1 drug of abuse.
I believe a section on it's impact on society is worth adding because we are seeing the odd example of analogues showing up and people don't realize the addictive potential and fatal side-effects.
