Unclear English language text

edit
  • "In 1898, Warsaw was opened Warsaw University of Technology." What does this mean?
  • "In 1915, in connection with the events of the First World War, he was evacuated to Nizhny Novgorod." Unclear that this "he" refers to. Presumably a person, but who? The given reference does not indicate an institutional evacuation.
  • "He was renamed by Nizhny Novgorod University of Technology, in 1918." Again, what is this "he" - presumably meaning "It", i.e. the institution that is the subject of the article?

  • I am from Russia. I have not very good english. If you notice an error, correct it, please.
  • [not in citation given] On this site said that " During World War I the school's equipment was taken to Russia." The implication is that the entire university, teaching staff and material resources was evacuated to Russia. But the Poles kept silent about it.I will look for information.
