Warsaw Uprising
editThis is probably one of the squadrons that was involved in the attempt to supply the Polish Resistance during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. IISR, they flew from Brindisi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.4.57.101 (talk) 20:04, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
Name
editI’m pretty sure that the proper name here would be “squadron” not “flight”. I could be wrong but the latter seems like a mistranslation. Volunteer Marek 17:44, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- This was a RAF flight. You can tell by the four digit number and by sources: [1][2][3]. Look at Royal Air Force#Flights and List of Royal Air Force aircraft independent flights for RAF lingo and background.--Ace303 (talk) 15:19, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
