NPOV regarding racism issue
editThe section attempting to describe the debate regarding the allegedly racist imagery in this music video is horribly biased. An entire paragraph is devoted to making claims that the video is racist. However, nothing is mentioned about the counterclaims, even though people with just as much verifiability as 'Racialicious.com' bloggers were mentioned in one of the sourced articles. In fact, two of the three sources specifically publish counterclaims.

- Well, it looks like that because I was in a rush while i was adding that info and I just copy-pasted it. Can you tell me which are your suggestions to improve the section? You can leave your comments on the talk page. Thanks. My love is love (talk) 11:26, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- The supposed counterclaims in the linked sources are just people on message boards who do not give any reason why the video is not racist. Instead they defend it as art, or use the "she has black friends" defense. One of the quotes is even an ad hominem attack. The Racialicious article, on the other hand, gives a full explanation of why the video is racist. 67.162.75.168 (talk) 16:11, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- The way it is stated now downplays the critiscism, as there was more than critizising the blackface, see for instance: http://www.change.org/petitions/florence-and-the-machine-apologize-for-racist-video and the "counterclaim" (is it supposed to be one?) isn't about the issue of racism as such, so this is very irritating. --94.223.9.134 (talk) 20:10, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
