Sources

---Another Believer (Talk) 03:40, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

@Another Believer: am I not reading these sources closely enough? Where is the confirmation of the song's title? Mclarenfan17 (talk) 06:33, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Mclarenfan17, Several sources mention "title track", referring to the title of the film. ---Another Believer (Talk) 15:12, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
@Another Believer: I'm afraid you're going to need something more specific than that. "Title track" or "title theme" can be used to describe a song that is played over the film's titles, like "You Know My Name", "Another Way to Die" or "Writing's on the Wall". Mclarenfan17 (talk) 19:10, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Mclarenfan17, Sources like this work for me, but I understand your point. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:16, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
There is nothing in the body of that source that says the name of the song is "No Time to Die". You need to do more than read the headline of the source. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 19:29, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Mclarenfan17, What part of this is unclear to you? "As with all her output to date, 'No Time To Die' was written with Billie's elder brother, producer Finneas." ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:48, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

What part is unclear?

Where it's coming from. No-one quoted in the article says that is the name of the song. Finneas O'Connell even said that he could not discuss the song when he was interviewed by Jimmy Fallon. And why is it that no other articles about the song call it "No Time to Die"? I can't find any reliable sources to corroborate the claim. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 05:47, 11 February 2020 (UTC)

Mclarenfan17, I assume this addresses your concerns? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:12, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
@Another Believer: only in the sense that it confirms the title. It doesn't change the fact that you created the article prematurely and the content is little more than a rehash of promotional material. You should have waited until actual details about the song were revealed. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 21:47, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
(shrug) On to other things! ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:34, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
@Another Believer: the least you could do is acknowledge the error and try to learn from it. I don't know how closely you follow production of Bond films, but they're always targets of unsubstantiated and low-quality reporting. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 01:14, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
Mclarenfan17, Ok, sure. You might consider withdrawing your nomination here if you think the tag is no longer necessary. Thanks, ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:28, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

Oh, I still think it's necessary because the article is lacking any real content. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 01:30, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

Mclarenfan17, There's already plenty of coverage. An article doesn't need to be fully fleshed out for a topic to be notable. See coverage in "Release" section below. I'll move on.. doesn't matter, the tag will be removed soon regardless. Happy editing, ---Another Believer (Talk) 01:35, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
@Another Believer:
There's already plenty of coverage.
Not really. Most of the article is still Eilish/O'Connell/Fukunaga talking up the song.
An article doesn't need to be fully fleshed out for a topic to be notable.
No, but it does need encyclopaedic content. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 01:54, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

Deletion

@Mclarenfan17: There's no reason to nominate this article for deletion. If anything, redirecting is more appropriate. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:19, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

If the song is titled "No Time to Die", it can be recreated.
If the song is titled anything else, the redirect becomes useless. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 19:27, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Mclarenfan17, If the title turns out to be something different, the page can just be moved... ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:29, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
That doesn't change the fact that this article was created prematurely and has virtually no content aside from promotional statements. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 19:31, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Mclarenfan17, Alright, then, agree to disagree. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:35, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

@Mclarenfan17: I'm not sure other editors are going to weigh in here and the above discussion in the future. Do you mind if I archive these 2 discussions? ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:22, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
