neither noteworthy nor encyclopedic
editOf course I reached this article because I like the series, but I am under the impression that this and almost every other in-depth discussion of television show characters - especially current ones - do not belong in Wikipedia. Shouldn't they be relocated into a different Wiki project? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.218.218.95 (talk) 04:28, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- No, character pages do meet the notability guidelines as long as the characters in question aren't obscure. What's obscure? A one-line character is obscure. A actor with a recurring role is not. Bottom line: notability is determined by the community and the guidelines and can change over time. Frankly, the biggest problem with character pages isn't notability; it's the speculative writing. Character pages often contain these speculative histories that have been extrapolated out of (practically) thin air. The presumptions are everywhere. But as long as character articles stick to the facts and don't speculate or presume, then they are acceptable. This can be easily achieved by the editors of these articles simply containing their inner fanboy(s) so we can have an encyclopedia, not a fansite. ask123 (talk) 19:04, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Bennet speaks Russian?
editWouldn't it be Ukrainian, seeing as their in Ukraine? I don't speak either language though, so someone who knows for sure could fix that detail. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.221.73.9 (talk) 17:49, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- My wife and I speak Brazilian Portuguese but we're in Texas. You can speak languages outside of their native country. Unless someone can provide a source determining the exact language we're stuck with what the graphic novels tell us, and that's Russian. Padillah (talk) 17:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I changed it. If you turn on the subtitles, it identified the language being spoken as Ukrainian. Niteshift36 (talk) 04:35, 6 February 2015 (UTC)

Far too much trivia
editThe character history section is far too detailed, pretty much recapping everything the character did in each episode. We should be looking at 3-4 paragraphs per season. Niteshift36 (talk) 04:37, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
