Many Mistakes: ok to edit if i knew the individual?

This indivdual was my nieghbor and there are significant inaccuracies on this page would it be a conflict if i editted the page for historical accuracy? for example one link displayed does not match the individual in the post. with wait for feedback for 30 days before making any updates myself.
