editThis article is intended to be a very general overview of noise in signal processing and sort of a "master index" page for various specialized articles dealing with that subject. It is not meant to be simply a disambiguation page, and it is expected to grow a bit more. On the other hand, it is not meant to include details that belong on specialized articles.
The article seems needed. There was no article or redirect named "noise (signal processing)", which is a title that many editors would probably want to link to when writing other articles. There is already an article on noise, but it is (and should be) on the common sense of the term, rather than the signal processing sense. There is a noise (disambiguation) page, but it is way too general, and already way too long even though it lists only 10% of the "noise" articles that one will find with a search.

Suggestion. Can merge the topic with Noise.--atnair (talk) 02:18, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- No, Noise is specifically about unwanted sound. ~Kvng (talk) 15:24, 13 October 2020 (UTC)
