editI have removed a sentence that is far too closely copied from the tagged source. This constitutes a violation of WP:C and WP:NFC. I've requested assistance with rewriting it at User talk:CBM#Help?. While any contributor is welcome to put this in original language, it should not be restored as it was. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 20:44, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- When I undid it the first time I changed the wording in many ways. So now it is different. franklin 20:47, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, so I see. Your edit summary simply says that you "(Undid revision 331136172 by Moonriddengirl (talk))", and I thought you had not understood the purpose of the removal. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:15, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
At Moonriddengirl's request, I rewrote the first sentence entirely. I also reformatted the external links as proper external links in their own section. I did not try to rephrase everything in the removed sentence, because I am only vaguely familiar with this field. So please feel free to expand it.
One note: we generally prefer professionally published books, papers, and lecture notes as sources in math articles. Web-only material can be listed in external links, but it is not a preferred type of reference for article content, and should only be used as a reference only when there is a specific need for it that cannot be met by peer-reviewed material. — Carl (CBM · talk) 23:03, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
