David Kherdian
editThe "authorities" have not yet integrated all records for husband and sometimes collaborator David Kherdian.
(The latter GND includes no German national library records but the VIAFs seem to be distinct; both certainly pertain to him.)
Some sources including LCCN call him a "Newbery-winning author" but he was the runner-up for The Road to Home (1979). According to WorldCat that book focuses on [his mother's] "her childhood in Turkey before the Turkish government deported its Armenian population."
- The Road to Home: the story of an Armenian girl in libraries (WorldCat catalog)
And there is a sequel (1981). "Continues the biography of Veron Dumehjian who comes to America as a mail-order bride and adapts to life in a new country."
- Finding Home in libraries (WorldCat catalog)

- All of this material is now directly or indirectly covered in the article text or footer and David Kherdian redirects here --{{R from person}}, one of the Redirects with possibilities. --P64 (talk) 16:14, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Early career
edit- Nonny Hogrogian at Library of Congress, with 68 library catalog records
There are LCCat records for about two dozen books she illustrated from 1961 to 1970 and no books as writer. --Not including the 1960 King of the Kerry Fair so I added [this June] its {{worldcat}} to External links. One Fine Day is her only writer credit among six 1971 LCCat records, evidently a watershed for there are three in 1972.
