Time of firing and number of shots
editThe Noon Gun article, about the Noon Gun in Signal Hill, Cape Town, South Africa, says that the Hong Kong gun goes off at 1 pm. I would assume that this article has the more accurate info. Could someone with more information on Hong Kong verify the time, and then correct the Noon Gun article if necessary. BlankVerse 13:17, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Plus how many shots? One or twelve?
- One shot, at noon. Unfortunately the sources required to answer these two questions are either in Chinese or not online, so I can't post a link. --Deryck C. 21:06, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Noonday or Noon Day?
editThere seem to be a similar numbers of hits, and seemingly good references, for both spellings: 'Noonday Gun' and 'Noon Day Gun'. Can someone do the research to choose one? Onanoff (talk) 17:30, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
