- ... that British novelist Noreen Riols (pictured) trained agents who supported the French Resistance during World War II? Source: "We'll add this later" stated in a 1994 article titled "The secret life of an intelligence agent" published by The Courier and Advertiser; restricted access.
- Reviewed: Written by a DYK newbie; no QPQ required. That said, given that it was nominated by Schwede66, here's a review from him: COVID vaccine dispute
- Comment: We are currently running the first WikiCon in New Zealand and are using this nomination as a training exercise. Should you be unkind, we shall get in touch with the French Resistance.

Overall: Article is long enough. No copyvios detected. AGF on the citation. Very interesting hook. QPQ requirement satisfied (new creator). Appears to be over the seven day mark but approving per Wikipedia:DYKPN and WP:NEWBIES. I suggest using the other image which is verified freely licensed as a work of the U.S. Army. Let me know your thoughts about the image. TJMSmith (talk) 02:04, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review. The attendees of WikiCon in Hokitika felt that the image as nominated is the more suitable one as (a) there isn't an issue with its license, and (b) this photo would be much better given that it would be displayed at 100x100 px. Schwede66 21:19, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
- - Assuming good faith that the image is correctly identified as their own work. TJMSmith (talk) 05:10, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Schwede66 and Gertrude206, the article says She was "trained to be dropped into France but eventually based at the organisation's headquarters in The Mall and at the training camp in the New Forest" where she worked with men who worked in intelligence in France, but says nothing about her training others, or the others working with the French Resistence. Can one of you add that information (with a source) so we can use this great hook? Please ping me when you've done so. MeegsC (talk) 17:50, 27 March 2021 (UTC)

- Thanks, Gertrude206! I can promote it now. MeegsC (talk) 14:02, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
