Windsor Extension??

edit

Someone put on this page a list of stations on a possible extension to Windsor - I hardly think this is right, because, as has been pointed out to me, there is already a railway running from near Rouse Hill (the Richmond Line), which will be extended to Rouse Hill from Vineyard by 2020. Additionally, the Government's plans never intended for the T-Way to extend to Windsor, only to Rouse Hill. Thirdly, there is no provision in the Old Windsor Road upgrade to accommodate the T-Way past Rouse Hill.

I'm removing this unless someone can come up with a reference. I suspect it's a hoax.

-- Unofficial T-Way line extensions to Windsor:

  • Annangrove (Box Hill, Rouse Hill, Schofields)
  • Nelson (Box Hill)
  • Terry (Riverstone, Box Hill)
  • Boundary (Riverstone, Vineyard, Oakville)
  • Chapman (Vineyard)
  • Groves (Mulgrave, Vineyard)
  • McGraths (McGraths Hill, Mulgrave)
  • Macquarie (Windsor, South Windsor)
  • Windsor (Interchange)(Connections to Rail Station)
  • Moses (Windsor)
  • George (Terminating Station)(Connections to Town Centre)(Windsor)

I also removed the Powers Business Park station. The proposed Business Park isn't even located on Windsor Road; it's on Powers Road, and would require the transitway buses to divert from their route and come back, and there's already a station at the intersection of Old Windsor Road and Powers Road. Misleading route descriptions

edit

A lot of these route descriptions are back to front. For example

"Parramatta - Blacktown via Sunnyholt Rd T-way, Kings Langley and Westmead"

should read either

"Blacktown - Parramatta via Sunnyholt Rd T-way, Kings Langley and Westmead" or alternatively Parramatta - Blacktown via Westmead, Kings Langley and Sunnyholt Rd T-way" Eregli bob (talk) 11:19, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
