Contested deletion

edit

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... its an important NHS provider, and part of the Wikipedia description of the National Health Service. Its also a major employer in the area. This article is at present only a stub. Wikipedia's treatment of mental health services in England is pretty poor and it needs beefing up. There are 160 NHS Foundation Trusts with Wikipedia entries. Why should this one be singled out for deletion? --Rathfelder (talk) 22:04, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Biased and incomplete account of the Trust

edit

To whom it may concern, the article currently on Wikipedia has a few basic facts correct, but the bulk of it is biased, obviously posted by users who have a grudge or issue with the Trust, as are the links to 'related articles'.

There are a number of links missing, not least of which is the main trust website here: http://www.nelft.nhs.uk/ which also has more information on the way the trust works and what services it provides to over 1.5 users in north east London and south west Essex.

Other links that should be included are:

NHS Choices listing http://www.nhs.uk/Services/Trusts/Overview/DefaultView.aspx?id=2703

South West Essex (part of North East London Foundation Trust) http://www.swessexcommunity.nhs.uk/home.aspx

Gov UK information https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/north-east-london-nhs-foundation-trust

It is bad conduct to speculate about the motives of an editor and allege they are editing out of a "grudge". I did trim some editorializing that didn't seem necessary. I disagree with the issue over links. The current references are from independent newspapers, whereas the proposed are primary sources affiliated with the article-subject. However, the sources used in the current page are also local sources regarding individual sites and they host 150. We don't normally include information about individual locations at large companies, unless it gets national press coverage. CorporateM (Talk) 05:10, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
