Assessment
editI'm assessing this article following a request at WP:WPSCH/A#R, and I'm giving a rating of Start / Low. I'm afraid the overall summary of my assessment is that this article needs to stripped out and significantly re-written. I'm giving Start-class, although this is arguably generous as Start-class articles should not be in danger of deletion per WP:ASSESS, which this is I'm afraid. The article reads like a school leaflet rather than an encyclopedic article - the article should cite sources, per the verifiability policy (WP:V), with at least a small number of third-party sources being given per the notability guideline (WP:N), and be written neutrally per the neutral point of view policy (WP:NPOV). I would recommend that the article be re-organized with sections as given at WP:WPSCH/AG#S, with far less attention given to sports and trivialities - note WP:WPSCH/AG#WNTI.
Further helpful guidelines including Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources, Wikipedia:Citing sources, and Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If further help is required or a re-assessment is desired, feel free to drop me a note on my talk page. CT Cooper · talk 17:01, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
- My recent edits are in response to the above. Please do not add out of guideline material. It does nothing to improve the article. This is not a bulletin board for students from the school to write about the school's achievements. It is an encyclopedia article, intended for reference. The community has decided what valid content in a high school article is (and isn't). The guideline can be found at WP:WPSCHOOLS/AG. Gtwfan52 (talk) 21:47, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
