Encounters?

edit

Sounds like teenage exploits behind the bike sheds. Why not "matches"? – ukexpat (talk) 03:05, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have boldly moved it to North Korea–South Korea football matches. – ukexpat (talk) 15:23, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
You have a slightly strange definition of the word "encounter", but it doesn't really matter. Aridd (talk) 17:15, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

User:Surge79uwf has added the following:

Because sports in the North are directly funded by the government, whereas the South's team suffers from lack of funding, player development and fan support, the North has held the edge in the series.

It's probably true, but the lack of a source makes it seem like conjecture, an opinion, original research, so I removed it. Does anyone have a view as to whether it should go in nonetheless? Aridd (talk) 09:16, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

On second thoughts, I've restored it, but with a "citation needed" tag. Aridd (talk) 11:58, 6 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
