This article seems a brochure for tourists

Important part of the former Kingdom of Gallaecia. Culturally akin and ethnically related to Galicia (Galiza in Galician-Portuguese language). In Galicia (North of the Minho) is even today frequently common to refer to this Portuguese region as Galiza Sul (South Galicia). Interestingly enough the very name Galicia stems from the Celtic tribe that populated the Braga region when the Romans arrive in Gallaecia. See Kingdom of Galicia and Suebian Kingdom of Gallaecia.

The name of the article it´s incorrect

I already fixed that issue in this page. Even though it's called "Norte Region", the term usually used in English is "Northern Portugal". ImaginaryVoncroy (talk) 12:09, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

There seems to be some confusion here on the purpose of this article. The article is about one Portugal's NUTS II regions, and not about the territorial swath of land of northern Portugal. The Norte Region, as defined by Portuguese and European NUTS of Portugal, is not a geographical designation but a politico-administrative classification, along with: Centro, Lisboa, Alentejo and Algarve. Although there is a characterization of the area as being "northern Portugal", the reality is that Norte Region is the valid designation. Please check out the following [1] Excel file to see the designations in Europe. Also, "northern Portugal" implies a socio-cultural reality that is not supported by current government, social and cultural definitions. In fact, there is no unity as to which municipalities fall within "northern" Portugal, but there is, as to which fall within the Norte Region, as defined by European Eurostat designations and Portuguese government statistical records.
