Local government in NorthamptonNorthampton Borough Council – Article is about the now defunct district authority. it's successors West Northamptonshire and Northampton Town Council both have their own articles, so the 'Local government in Northampton' title is now redundant. • This article also discusses the older boroughs such as the county borough so I don't see why this needs moving to the most recent defunct district? Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:49, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
It's not simply about the most recent NBC though, even though that's what 90%+ of the article is about, so it seems logical to move it there. It discusses the older iterations of Northampton borough in the history section, although that could possibly do with some more detail. Until this year Northampton had a borough council of some kind for centuries, so it's a topic with a lot of history. G-13114 (talk) 13:34, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
OK then, I'm fine with the move. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:47, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. The county borough council would also have been commonly referred to as Northampton Borough Council (the "county" was often omitted). So until this year it had actually had a borough council for centuries. This is the clear correct, common and obvious title. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:13, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
