Potential London Palatine 1 image alternative?
edit@Davey2010 Just clocked the Go-Ahead London Palatine 1 image you posted in your latest version(s), having encountered it previously when sorting the pre-2006 bus photographs out into month categories. That... probably isn't the best image to use, so might I suggest this public domain depot image by Simon Beeston as an alternative? I'd planned on uploading it ages after first discovering it, yet I somehow didn't get around to it. Hullian111 (talk) 15:27, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hi @Hullian111, Agreed - I thought it looked okay as a full image but as a thumbnail definitely not, I was trying to show one that showed the dual door configuration but unfortunately there's no images of this, Also unfortunately I'm indeffed from Commons so can't upload that image but I definetely think that's a good image to go in the article
- (I don't know if Commons accepts Public Doain though, I know there's one licence that's an issue but can't never remember what it is),
- Many thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:32, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hmm. I remember there was some issue with the verification, and checking some of Beeston's photos that I uploaded a few months back, they still need manual verification. Probably will keep it as-is until things become a bit more clear on the status of those PD-mark images. Hullian111 (talk) 15:35, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
