editthis page needs some history, and some scientific references. when did western blotting, northern blotting, etc, start? there should be a cited paper for each.
Northern should be written like nortern not Northern because it is not derivated from a name like Southern blotting.
I disagree - the name is a molecular biology joke, and as such it needs to follow the style of "Southern". Hence it should be Northern. Spamming Wikipedia
editBiologicalworld.com has spammed wikipedia like no tomorrow. He is a site of only a few pages and a LOT of adsense. Not much information is given except for "protocols" which are not referenced, and cannot be trusted from a site of that quality.
