Best academic results claim
editThe claim of 'The school consistently has one of the best academic results in East Anglia.' doesn't appear to stand to independent scrutiny. Source is 8 years old, and current government statistics either have no reported figures from the school, or put it distinctly average for 16-18 attainment. Unless more up-to-date sources can be found, I suggest statement needs to be removed. Tomtiger11 (talk) 23:32, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
- GCSE for 2019 was high EDP reporting. A levels was 79% down on previous year (88%) also EDP. 2016 and 2017 were 89%, 90% so 2019 seems atypical. GraemeLeggett (talk) 09:06, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- It's interesting you'd provide those sources, as on the gov.uk school comparison website any metrics published (based upon reported grades to the gov) show the school to be significantly underperforming in GCSE with an attainment 8 score of 17.3 which is significantly below the LA and England average. gov.uk page and additionally doesn't seem to comply with WP:NPOV as it's a biased statement of opinion without in-text attribution. Seems very difficult to justify any claim to significant high performance in this case. Tomtiger11 (talk) 17:49, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
