I have a question
editDo you know, if this song is recorded also by "Air Supply"?
If the answer is 'Yes', do you know when they release it?
Thanks, offir.la@gmail.com

"worldwide success"
edit"Worldwide" seems to mean Canada, the US, Australia and western Europe ("Germany" here means "West Germany". East Europe doesn't count.) Over half the population of the world lives in Asia. Africa, Central America and South America are also part of the world. Calling a narrow portion of the world "worldwide" is rather troubling.
I also have some problems with "much of Europe", "success" and "quite popular in Spanish-speaking countries" (with nothing cited, so we aren't sure which countries or how popular).
As an alternative, I would like to suggest stating facts: It reached the top ten in 11 European countries and Canada. If you would like to state facts to demonstrate the success of the Spanish version, we'll need some facts about the Spanish version. Saying it was a "success" or "quite popular" is POV. - SummerPhDv2.0 02:58, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
- The wording is not mine, but I do not disagree with your proposal. As far as "worldwide" music charts, I am aware of only a few existing outside of the indicated regions during the 1980s. The West leads the world in the dissemination of popular music. Therefore it is no slight to third world nations to overlook them when using the term "worldwide."-JGabbard (talk) 03:33, 30 September 2015 (UTC)
- It's not a question of slighting anyone, it's a question of peacockery. There is simply nothing to indicate it was popular "worldwide". It was popular where it was popular. Equating "the West" with "the world" is as off-base as calling it the universe. (Attention MLB: Your "World Series" covers like 20 of 50 U.S. states and one city in Canada. That's beyond absurd.) - SummerPhDv2.0 17:19, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
