Monophonic
editWhy is the sample monophonic? Wouldn't it be better to have a clip from an organum triplum or motet? —vivacissamamente 05:18, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes it's "polyphonic". I'm not sure how to upload stuff (or whether I might infringe copyright if I should). But if we want to build people up to Sederunt or Viderunt they should be able to hear a duplum to start with.
Wrong recording
editThis seems wrong to me to have a monophonic recording as an illustration of Notre Dame school music. It's been almost two years since note was made of this; I'm going to try to hunt up an expert. Yopienso (talk) 07:09, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
- Five years now. It's quite ridiculous to have a monophonic piece of music illustrating the "Notre Dame school of polyphony"... Anyone? -- megA (talk) 22:09, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
