Tabankulu → Ntabankulu – Name was changed in 2005. Reliable sources regularly use the new name.

- Support, per ngrams and per Google News (Tabankulu and Ntabankulu) which shows that Ntabankulu is the WP:COMMONNAME and satisfies WP:MPN. BilledMammal (talk) 02:10, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- Weak Support, per WP:COMMONNAME. Google News searches show that though both names are used, Ntabankulu is far more common:
- But Ngrams with smoothing switched off seems to show that both names have existed in English since the 1880s, with Tabankulu being very much more common in the 20th Century. In the 21st Century, Ngrams seems to show that Ntabankulu was more common in 2004-2009, 2015 and 2017-19. If you put lots of smoothing on Ngrams show that in the 21st Century up to 2019 usage of both is similar. Perhaps when Ngram data are available for 2020-2024 they will be more definite about a change in usage.-- Toddy1 (talk) 18:34, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
