Talk:Nucleus CMS

Correct Name.

edit

Technically it should be NucleusCMS (Cammel Case) as this is how it is always given.

I forward a proposal that a "move" be made to remove the space. --Lord Matt 18:20, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Its Web site seems to disagree.... æle 05:08, 13 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
There does seem to be a level of inconsitancy favouring the spaced version... let's leave it as it is then. --Lord Matt 08:06, 30 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Adding further content

edit

I'd like to also bring up the subject of the Revision as of 14:12, 18 December 2005 which was later reduced due to being a little too PoV.

I feel the article would be richer both for a small reference to the plugin call-back system and the long term development concept (vapour ware) boron. (or should boron have it's own article?)

I also feel that it's use by Fantastico (as part of cPanel) should also be mentioned.

However I'd like to seak guidence as to avoid endless PoV comments in the changes log.

Doubtful statement

edit

It seems to be my day for these "...NucleusCMS plugins (on the whole) will work on this fork." This is not true if the NucleusCMS plugin has an admin area. NucleusCMS uses a file called config.php in the root but the fork renamed the file cnfg.php (or some such). To initialize an admin area you must first be able to call this file and failing to name it correctly in the include statement will give an ugly php error message and possible security issues depending on the code of the admin section.

Additional Headings

edit

Having examined the Drupal page to see what has generally been accepted as the sort of content that is needed I see that a list of things one can do with a plugin is good. There plugins and Common Uses seem like headings that might be required. --Lord Matt 13:39, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
