The article was earlier named as Nuh, which is now redirected to article on Prohet Nuh Noah in Islam which is justified please.--Md iet (talk) 11:24, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because it's a valid disambiguation page. (It may still be a candidate for deletion, but only if most/all of the entries it lists are merged/deleted.) --The Crab Who Played With The Sea (talk) 12:26, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
- The page history is at the five-year-old disambiguation page Nuh, which was wrongly copied and pasted here. – Fayenatic London 09:55, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
Restored after deletion
editThe page should NOT have been copied and pasted from Nuh. See WP:MOVE.
If there was a consensus that Nuh (prophet) was the primary topic, then the disambiguation should have been moved (not copied and pasted) to Nuh (disambiguation).
As it happens, there are sufficient entries not known simply as "Nuh" to justify a separate page about the name. I have therefore restored the page and split the anthroponymy content from the disambiguation page. Note that a small amount of overlap is permitted by MOS:DABNAME. – Fayenatic London 09:55, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
