Background

edit

Once again, User:Calvin999 has added completely irrelevant information on the Background. I removed it in another song article for Unapologetic but it was reverted for some stupid reason. I can't revert edits of reversions of my edits if that make sense. Nothing in the section is relevant to "Numb" itself and therefore should not be included - it's just writing for writing's sake to include a Background section when it is not needed at all. It's Background about the album in which the song comes from, hence background information. You don't have a valid point here. AARONTALK 01:51, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Urm yes I do. You said it yourself, it's background about the album, not the song at all. The background about the album goes in the album article not here. I suppose We Found Love is somehow connected to Numb as well. You could connect all of Rihanna's singls and albums in this section for gods sake! The sound of the album, more information being available tommorow?! Rihanna releasing the title of the album? And that is to do with Numb.....how??? You are in the wrong! But without the album, there's no song, do you understand that? It's background info about the project it is apart of. Lot's of articles have this, not only Rihanna's. AARONTALK 02:13, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
Stop talking down at me. How did you work that out?! The background of Numb is the background of the song, not the album. The only time it is used is with the song. For example look at all these other song articles:

Love the Way You Lie (Part II) Watch n' Learn Birthday Cake

Where in any of those articles does it say anything about the previous album or any album at all? No. It just says what is relevant to the song itself. Why won't you just listen?! Iluvrihanna24 (talk) 02:17, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'm not talking down to you, but you don't want to listen. You've already admitted that. AARONTALK 02:23, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Chart format

edit

Yet again, User:Calvin999 has reverted my constructive edit on correcting the chart format. Canada is provided by Canadian Hot 100, not Billboard, check in every other single article. Also UK format is written as UK Singles (Official Charts Company), not OCC at all. I'm fed up of battling against this user who constantly feels the need to use his personal way of formatting charts when I am using the universal way used in every other single article. I can't revert this now as my editing restrictions won't allow it. I'd appreciate it if someone else could do it for me or talk to the user about what he is doing. Iluvrihanna24 (talk) 02:17, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

It should be Billboard. Do you understand that the Canadian Hot 100 is a singles chart? Like the US Hot 100? Exactly the same, just different countries. Don't know why I'm bothering to explain, "you don't want to listen and you don't care." IRMA is an abbreviation, so it ARIA. Nothing wrong with OCC, it's the official abbreviation. You know this, but have challenged it so much even when finding out that you were wrong that you are still chasing it. AARONTALK 02:21, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

New Single

edit

So far, the singles released were Diamonds, Stay, Pour It Up, and Right Now. This should be released as the fifth overall single.--71.235.92.16 (talk) 18:49, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I was wrong. What Now and Jump were released as singles and Numb was not. Oh, well.--71.235.92.16 (talk) 21:49, 7 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
