Example
editYou are right @Pigsonthewing: that this is an example profile set up by ORCID for just such a purpose. However, the example ORCID profile had been changed to the ORCID profiles of this person and this person. A change that it seems that you hadn't noticed since you reverted to one of those ones, not the 'offical' example profile. It is sorted now. Famousdog (c) 10:45, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
ORCID vs ORCID iD
editThis article (and also the ORCID website) lists both ORCID and ORCID iD, seemingly interchangeably. Is there a distinction between them? If so, then this article should ensure that that distinction is made and the correct form used in each case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.156.108.97 (talk) 18:09, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
- On the contrary, this article's use of the two terms is very clear and distinct. Please feel free to cite any examples that you feel are no so. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 12:05, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
