Bacground for name?

edit

What is the background for the Polish name? A tribute to Joseph Conrad? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.215.43.102 (talk) 02:27, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

ORP Piorun properly translates as "lightning", ORP Błyskawica properly translates in English as "lightning flash", and ORP Grom translates as "thunder bolt". There was a continuing theme with thunder and lightning.ORPBłyskawica (talk) 23:31, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am having trouble understanding if they are the same ship or 2 different ships — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.170.61.95 (talk) 15:27, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Plawski was the ship's captain.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:02, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Suggested edit: Location given as ‘Clydebank, Glasgow’.

Clydebank is a separate town & has never been incorporated into Glasgow… 41.143.46.55 (talk) 13:17, 6 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
