Ballad

I agree with you that ballad is not a genre but love ballad is. Sohambanerjee1998 10:19, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- No, it still being a ballad form, just romantic. It can be "power ballad", "ballad", "love ballad", or "whatever ballad", but it still being a form of ballad, and ballad is not a genre, it is a style. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 02:51, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Tbhotch, thanks for clarifying but the each and every source refers it to as Love ballad, what should be done now? I have the sources, should I add it with them going by your "Unsourced genres will be removed"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sohambanerjee1998 (talk • contribs)
- That information belongs to the composition section (if created), but not the infobox. It's like many of our ballads, for example Halo (Beyoncé Knowles song). It is also a love/power ballad, but that's just the way it was composed, not its genre. I moved this discussion from this talk page as the person who operates that IP removed it. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 23:25, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
