Well, let's see, the site of Shaughnessy/Veterans Hospital, Women's and Children's Hospitals, the city's two largest synagogues (Schara Tzedeck and Beth Israel), the core of what Jewish commercial/social/institutional life, including the kosher delis around 16th, the Jewish Community Centre at the corner of 41st and kiddy-corner from it a large Jewish-based resthome, and the stretch of places of worship of various eclectic religions from 41st southwards known as "Religion Row" (e.g. that of the Kabalarian Philosophy, Unitarian Church etc). And it's part of Highway 99....a while ago someone tried to PROD Hastings Street too, because they'd "never heard of it"....and had never been to Vancouver, of course.Skookum1 (talk) 01:32, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
