Creation of Future or Policy Section
editWould it be appropriate to create a new section discussing the city's plans for the future or development policies or similar? The section about building a commuter rail station is useful info and needs some updating information, but would be better addressed in a section other than Geography. For example, the move to get Amtrak on FEC stalled shortly after it was announced and Tri-Rail on FEC is some years off, if ever; although sources close to that issue say plans are already moving at this early stage. These and similar plans and policies could be placed in such a section. I would also be happy to contribute photos of Oakland Park as appropriate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Boteman (talk • contribs) 11:50, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Promotional video and city webcam
editI moved the external links that were in the text of the article to the External links section. I am not sure they belong in the article at all. Additional work is needed on the article, a good deal of factual information could be added. There are also some issues with tone. The article could be rendered encyclopedic and probably significantly expanded. MrBill3 (talk) 19:14, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
