on reading on awolowo though, i can only imagine where naija would have been now had he been the president for just a session, that guy had vision.. imagine,..first univ. first stadium, first tv station.. cool eeh in africa..anyways.. if anyone wants to follow that footstep, follow me..

I think i'll start getting my set of peeps for a presidency run towards the coolest niaja. write me at milleniumafrican@yahoo.com ciao.

Democracy activist?

edit

Hello, I would be most appreciative if somebody would take a minute to discuss the question of whether or not it is appropriate for Awolowo to be described (in the Categories) as a "Democracy activist". For all of the laudable accomplishments noted in the article, I could not discern the reason for using that particular term. Thank you. Cgingold 21:39, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Humanities Reference Desk

edit

There is a question over at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Humanities, asking about this article as well as its subject. Is there anyone here who can address it? Wabbott9 (talk) 03:15, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Obafemi Awolowo University

edit

I just added that the above mentioned university's initial name was the University of Ile-Ife, and i do feel that dates should be added in the Legacy section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nonso 007 (talkcontribs) 10:41, 7 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

ardent supporter of starvation

edit

Hard to square this hagiographic article with the Nigerian Civil War article in which this man justifies starving the Biafrans into submission. 47.20.160.104 (talk) 00:36, 29 December 2016 (UTC) captcrisisReply
