After visiting the house today (22nd November, 2009), I must admit I was very disappointed. Despite being a beautiful house to look at, there is no website for visiting hours etc. and the grounds are not in a good condition and need some colour i.e. some flower gardens should be put in. There is also an unsightly 'blachy' advertising hoarding right by the entrance to the house, and there was no information saying when the refurbishment programme would be finished. Plus, there are no outside facilities for a visitor to get something to eat or drink.
For Poland's premier author, I think a lot more needs to be done to restore the property to how it would have been in Sienkiewicz's day. Ivankinsman (talk) 14:08, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
