Ocean benthic environment
editOcean sediments are a potential environment for nematodes and microorganisms. Radioactive waste may damage these biota, these biota may have food chain relationships with more mobile organisms, and the nematodes may cause sediment disturbance significantly altering long term waste transfer rates projected from diffusion through undisturbed sediments.
