Gothic Sanctuary
editI removed Gethsemane sometimes being mislabeled as "Gothic Sanctuary". While accurate (if uncited), it doesn't seem in any way encyclopedia worthy. If you have a good reason to disagree with this, feel free to put it back. 71.162.94.169 (talk) 17:45, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
What does cover mean?
editWhat does cover mean? Shouldn't the person being covered be an artist (or a group, etc.) rather than the composer? AFAIK Howard Blake never performed the song or am I wrong? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.192.19.110 (talk) 11:14, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
Yes, Allmusic is utterly unreliable
edit- This site provides an array of ridiculously misleading genres. If it is to be believed, Nightwish is black metal, hair metal and progressive metal at once. We can't treat such a "source" seriously. "Antti J. Ravelin" doesn't even seem to know terms like "symphonic metal" and "power metal" exist. Also, he does not specify if "heavy metal" is used as a broad term that includes power metal (and if so, it is redundant in the infobox), or as in "traditional heavy metal", like Black Sabbath or Judas Priest (and if so, the author is just incompetent).
- I suggest we should use a book instead: "Once Upon a Nightwish: The Official Biography 1996-2006", that says: "Along with Therion's Theli, the album came to be known as one of the cornerstones of the emerging genre of symphonic metal". Beaumain (talk) 21:05, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
