name and origin

The lemon basil article describes Ocimum americanum as "African basil" which isn't mention here... and which seems to conflict with the name of "americanum". Not sure what to think. --Chriswaterguy talk 06:14, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

The ref given, http://www.herbsociety.org/basil/oamericanum.php , is broken, but there are PDFs on the site which might make passing reference to this variety.

The picture on the right gives a better view of the leaves. I wanted to add it outside the infobox (not replacing the existing infobox pic, which is nice) but couldn't see how without making the page untidy. --Chriswaterguy talk 06:25, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
