Hello - I would fix the incorrect content but I was told I am not allowed to as I am an employee of the university. This seems like a stupid policy, since as the Director of Communications, I am tasked with making sure information about us is accurate.

Anyway - you have an image of the university seal labeled University Icon - that is NOT the icon. The icon is included in the university brand mark lower in that same box. The brand mark is a combination of the icon and the university word mark.

And - the seal is the academic seal for the university.

I haven't given much attention to the article in a while.

Hello! I have made the edit from seal to icon. It is standard practice to use seals at the top of University pages, and logos/wordmarks at the bottom. If you have requested edits, you can add them to this talk page with the header "requested edit". Please ensure you refer to WP:V, WP:COI, WP:PROMO when requesting edits. Title IX

As a 25-year-old gay man and a Christian who attended Ohio Christian University (OCU), I find the paragraph, referring to Title IX, which alleges that the university "legally discriminates" as very offensive. I never felt discriminated at the university. I also had the most liberal professor I have ever had, of the schools I have attended, in one of my courses at OCU. I consider the language of the above-mentioned paragraph to be inflammatory language. Its purpose is to manipulate the readers of the article in a way to cause them to feel prejudiced against OCU. I am proud to be an alumnus of OCU, where I graduated summa cum laude, and I appreciate how much support I received, as a student, from various professors and other staff. I had a much better experience at OCU than I had during my one semester at the University of North Texas and my time at Colorado State where I earned my MBA. Anti-Christian hate is just as much bigotry as any other types of hate. It is unacceptable and hurtful.
