Should we move, stubify, or smerge into India energy law? Bearian (talk) 22:32, 5 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

What content here do you see worth saving? The opening sentence says that the OISD is an industry supported organisation that creates rules and guidelines for the oil industry in India; the rest of the article is a list of titles, without any content at all, along with a link to the OISD website. If it wasn't for the long list of only headings, I'd say the whole thing was a press release. Also, regarding your suggestion about moving it into the energy law article, this article doesn't say the organisation makes laws, and most industry organisations I know of make self-regulation of their industry a priority to avoid having to comply with actual laws. The lead consists of 8 sentences, I think it could be reduced to 4 sentences at most, without losing any info. Telling the the average wikipedia reader that hot work permits in India have to be issued as per OISD 225 doesn't seem very relevant/encyclopedic to me, but that's just me. --Despayre (talk) 22:48, 5 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
Possibly incorporate the re-written 8 sentences somewhere (after condensing to the more appropriate 4)? --Despayre (talk) 22:54, 5 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
