No consensus. See no general agreement below to rename this article, so it will retain its present name for now. As is usual with a no-consensus outcome, editors may strengthen their arguments and try again in a few months to garner consensus for the title change. Kudos to editors for your input, and Happy New Year! (nac by page mover) Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 22:00, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Oishi Tengudo → Ohishi-Tengudo – Incorrect spelling. 'Oishi' should be 'Ohishi', and the name should be hyphenated. Please see https://www.tengudo.jp/english/profile.html for the correct English spelling. Graphitegrey (talk) 21:14, 16 December 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. Steel1943 (talk) 21:40, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. The reliable newspaper source on the article uses the current title, and we do not necessarily use what the company calls itself under WP:OFFICIAL. Ideally we would be talking about whether to put on a macron instead of putting an extra "h" in, per WP:MJ#General guidelines. I will create a redirect from the proposed title to this article, however. Dekimasuよ! 17:53, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Romanisation
editThis company chooses to Romanise itself as "Ohishi-Tengudo" (note "h" and hyphen) and not what is given on this page. It is a proper noun and general principles are that the owner is in charge of how such a name appears when translated/converted.80.43.193.110 (talk) 15:39, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
