There should probably be a paragraph about the controversy over destroying the Union Station Railyard. There have been some significant developments in that ongoing struggle that may delay construction. Jbrown84 (talk) 05:33, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Can you point us towards some news coverage about it? I hadn't heard that anything new had happened on this front. Looking around a bit I found http://www.okgazette.com/p/12776/a/2195/Default.aspx. I assume this is the development that you are talking about? Djthomp (talk) 13:38, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Union station is not being destroyed, their is some rerouting of track and of course land from the grounds their are being used however parts of the station were derelict anyway, but it will remain open and their was intentionally room left for expansion if eventually necessary but none is currently planned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.162.247.51 (talk) 09:41, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Redundant Statement?
editI think the statement saying "2012: Projected completion date for new Crosstown Expressway" should be changed to "2012: Projected completion date for the westbound side of the Crosstown Expressway." The eastbound side is, as mentioned in the article, already open. It's really saying that both sides of the expressway are yet to open. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.157.172.101 (talk) 19:03, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
Outdated
editA lot of this article is outdated. Could someone help fix this? Michael73072 (talk) 03:33, 8 April 2013 (UTC)

Merger from Oklahoma City Boulevard to this article
editAs far as I am aware, Oklahoma City Boulevard uses the same right-of-way as the former alignment of I-40 in Oklahoma City. Considering the maintenance and the size of that article, I don't think it is necessary to keep the Oklahoma City Boulevard article. AlphaBeta135 (talk) 22:02, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose: both just need updating, and a merge would be confusing to readers. They don't follow the same route: Oklahoma City Boulevard leaves the Oklahoma City Crosstown Expressway at 148B, at least according to the current article. Klbrain (talk) 07:57, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- Closing, given the uncontested objection and no support. Klbrain (talk) 12:46, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
