On 5 April 2020 I renamed this article for three reasons:
- The building is no longer the public library of Des Moines.
- The old title "Public Library of Des Moines" for an article about a single building made it sound like the Des Moines Public Library only had one building, which is incorrect. For many decades there have been multiple branch libraries.
- There is another Wikipedia article with the title "Des Moines Public Library" (which describes the library system) that sounds like it should be the same thing as the "Public Library of Des Moines". So that was confusing.PopePompus (talk) 03:56, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
