Move discussion in progress
editThere is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Oldenburg which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 20:16, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Where is this discussion, obviously not here? What does the "also" in the first sentence refer to? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:49, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: see Talk:Oldenburg (city)#Requested_move_29_June_2020. When the request was made, the discussion was indeed at Talk:Oldenburg ... and this page was at Talk:Oldenburg (disambiguation). --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:35, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, I guessed that, but it seemed unclear to someone unfamiliar with the move. I tried dabbing, but it's really hard. I won't understand why - if we needed a move - we couldn't take the official name of that city. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:38, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
- I sorted the dab a bit. How can we indicate that the bishopric was related to the Holstein Oldenburg, but the university to the Lower Saxony one, as also most regional units? Can we say a duchy is a state?? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:46, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
