Capitalization

edit

Just a note that it appears that this species is properly lower case as oldfield mouse. It is consistently lower case in sources and I have been unable to come up with the origin of the name. However, the mice of the South American genus Thomasomys are capitalized as Oldfield mice after zoologist Oldfield Thomas. See discussion at User talk:Plantdrew#Oldfield Thomas.
