I propose merging Olga Ivanova (footballer) into Olga Ševcova. It is the same player: she won the Latvian Player of the Year for the 3rd consecutive and fifth time overall in 2019: [1] The Latvian Football Federation confirms the dates as 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2019 [2] but lists the first two under Ivanova: [3] Same birthdate. - @Bring back Daz Sampson: So, did Ivanova got married at some point of her career and since then became Ševcova?--MonFrontieres (talk) 23:49, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @MonFrontieres:, thanks for taking a look. Yes I think so. I found her profile through her agency's Facebook link: [4]. I also found this after my first searches on Thursday: "Olga Ševcova (formerly known as Olga Ivanova) was recognized as the best football player in Latvia for the third time in her career (previously in 2011 and 2013) by receiving the highest number of votes in the annual voting of coaches and club representatives". If you have no objections I might see if I can go ahead and do the merger myself, as it looks like there is a huge backlog of other mergers waiting to be assessed. - @Bring back Daz Sampson: No problem, merge them. Try to not to lose data while doing that. E.g. the Olga Ivanova (footballer) article says one of her clubs is Gintra Universitetas (she was part of the squad that competed at the 2009–10 UEFA Women's Champions League)[5], but the Olga Ševcova one omits that she was in that Lithuanian club.--MonFrontieres (talk) 15:09, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
- Will do, thanks Bring back Daz Sampson (talk) 18:10, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
