Some of the strengths of this entry are the broadness of its coverage, and is verifiable with no original research. The entry begins with more scientific information about the species of lizard, such as the regions where it is most commonly found, and its taxonomy, which are standard categories. But it also covers how the species specifically is conserved, and what laws and acts have been passed in order to help the species survive, which broadens the range of topics covered. The entry also seems to cite its sources in the proper format, and the sources that are cited appear to be reliable ones. The most interesting fact I read in this article was that this species of lizard is protected in New Zealand by the Wildlife Act of 1953. Some categories that were missing but could have helped the article a lot were enemies, parental care, and anatomy. I feel that adding information about what kinds of organisms are considered the species’ predators and listing interactions it has with other species would be helpful information for readers. A section on parental care would also give the reader more context on the conditions in which offspring in the species are raised, give specific information on how parents in the species interact with their children, and explain why they invest more resources into certain offspring over others. A section on the lizard species’ anatomy would also be helpful because it would give the readers a better understanding of their skeletal structure, and perhaps some features on the lizard that explains its behavior. On the talk page for this lizard, it states that the page is part of the two projects, “WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles” and “WikiProject New Zealand.” The page is rated as start-class and low-importance for both of the projects that it is part of, which explains that there are no further discussions or comments that have been made on it as of this moment. The page is likely at an early stage in which not enough information has been added to the page for there to be room for revision. It also seems unlikely that it will be getting too much attention, as it is considered of low-importance to the two projects.
