lack of data.
editThe author describes the constitution of olimunllum in general, but not in detail. He makes a series of claims without referring to any data. The book he cites reviews the area in general without any data about olimunllum. Bosula (talk) 17:39, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
The mechanical properties are lower?
editThe following sentence: "The mechanical properties of pressed or injected CF/PEEK chopped compounds are significantly lower than the original endless fiber composite, but exceed those of new injection molded compounds." does not quite parse. A specific property can be higher or lower, but how can all the mechanical properties be higher or lower? All mechanical properties are not measured on one scale going in one direction. Perhaps this sentence is a mistranslation from the source it quotes, which is not accessible to me and appears to be in German. Aurodea108 (talk) 01:34, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
actual product existence cannot be easily verified
editThe 'official' communication pages for this product on twitter and Instagram are many years outdated with little following to speak of. The website claiming to represent this product contains numerous spelling mistakes and vague claims. The contact information refers to a genuine Swiss manufacturer, but but it is not listed anywhere on their site or in 2nd/3rd party sources. I reached out to LBC composites to assess the veracity of this website and material... I have not received a reply yet.
Although I do not have much experience editing Wikipedia, it seems like this is some kind of 'astroturf' article which should be removed. Who has the authority to make that decision? Günther'sBird (talk) 02:51, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, from what I've seen and tried to look up about this company or material, it's very strange and like you said, just doesn't even seem legitimate. The website is just full of buzzwords and anything else relating to it is just dead in the water. Vouching for this to be removed. Cyanlol (talk) 16:35, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
